After the success of our very first yearbook, we’re jumping into a new fast-paced format: One full yearbook… created in just one semester! It’s a big goal—but with teamwork, creativity, and lots of fun—we’re ready for the challenge!
Design Days, Music & Cocoa Moments
Picture this: music playing in the background, friends laughing, and hot cocoa in hand as we edit photos, choose layouts, and add creative flair to every page. This is your chance to help capture all the fun and memories of the Solid Rock year!
Tell the Story Through Photos & Design
Using Canva, an easy-to-learn design platform, you’ll help craft pages filled with photos, captions, layouts, and even a little AI design magic. Awesome opportunity to explore your inner creativity, teamwork, and visual storytelling at its best!
Tech, Teamwork & Time to Shine
Basic computer skills like typing and web navigation are helpful, but no design experience is needed. We’ll learn together as we meet deadlines and cheer each other on through every page we build.
Gear Up to Create!
You’ll need a laptop or tablet with the Canva app installed or website saved as a browser favorite.
*Important Tech Note: School-issued Chromebooks and cell phones don’t play well with Canva. A personal laptop or tablet is strongly recommended for this class.
Faith, Fun & Friendship
In this faith-centered, creativity-packed class, students will build confidence, cheer each other on, and use their God-given talents to design something lasting and meaningful. Each day kicks off with devotions and prayer—plus upbeat music, trivia-for-candy fun…and did we mention hot cocoa??—all while creating a yearbook that will be treasured for years to come!
